Endcolumn is an online community built by RMS to cater to a specific group of users. The concept was to create an invitation only community for users to share resources and network.
The community functions similar to facebook in that each user can create a profile and upload albums.
The sign-up process was customized to help connect users with other users in similar fields and encourage organic growth of the site. Users can also issue invitations to new potential users.
A forum was created to help troubleshoot common problems.
Users are encouraged to post pictures of their work to share.
